Want to Have a Baby as Quickly as Possible?
Dr. Ton Recommends ICSI for a Successful Pregnancy at Beyond IVF

This case involves a young patient who never thought she would face fertility issues. After trying to conceive naturally for a year without success, she began researching fertility treatments from various clinics to ensure that assisted reproductive technology would maximize her chances of pregnancy.

She came across multiple success stories from patients treated by Dr. Ton Poonsak and received recommendations from friends who had undergone treatment at Beyond IVF. This led her to consult Dr. Ton for an initial fertility assessment and to plan the fastest route to a successful pregnancy.

Dr. Ton recommended ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) as the most effective method. However, the couple faced challenges with fertilization, preventing their embryos from reaching the Blastocyst stage (Day 5 development), leaving them with only a few viable embryos.

Despite this, Dr. Ton provided specialized care before embryo transfer. At Beyond IVF, patients undergo hormone monitoring every three days post-transfer, allowing for precise hormonal adjustments to maximize the chances of implantation and pregnancy.

After 18 days, the doctor performed an ultrasound to check for a pregnancy sac—and confirmed the pregnancy!

Patient’s Treatment: ICSI (In Vitro Fertilization - IVF)

Additional Special Techniques:
ICSI – A specialized microscopic technique where a single sperm is directly injected into the egg, increasing the success rate.
NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) – A genetic screening process to detect chromosomal abnormalities in embryos.

Patient’s Experience at Beyond IVF:
"Dr. Ton provided excellent consultation, helping me gain a clear understanding of the ICSI treatment process. The staff, service, and facility were all outstanding. I’ll definitely be recommending Beyond IVF to my friends!"

Body Mass Index calculator

Being overweight or underweight can reduce fertility, so it is important to keep your body weight within the normal healthy range.

Body Mass Index (BMI) is an indication of your body weight and can be calculated by dividing weight by height. You should aim for a BMI of between 20 and 25, as this will optimise your chances of conception.

Woman’s BMI below 19

Even in these modern times, nature knows best. If a woman's BMI falls below 19, the body senses famine and ovulation is switched off to prevent the risk of having a baby with malnutrition. Excessive exercise can reduce body fat and increase muscle mass to a point where periods cease for the same reason. Risk of miscarriage is also increased in women with a low BMI.

Being underweight

If a woman's BMI falls below 19, the body senses famine and ovulation is switched off to prevent the risk of having a baby with malnutrition. Excessive exercise can reduce body fat and increase muscle mass to a point where periods cease for the same reason. Risk of miscarriage is also increased in women with a low BMI.

BMI’s greater than 30

This can reduce fertility by 50%. Pregnancy for women with a 30+ BMI is often associated with problems such as maternal diabetes, high blood pressure, big babies and increased risk of caesarean section.
